Thoughts in a Chapel

Jesus Christ is truly present in the tabernacles of the world. Why don't we visit him more? I suppose when we get comfy we forget that we need our Lord just to breath each day...I've been anxious and stressed with new work responsibilities and I worry I can't do it...but I've been visiting Jesus during my lunch hour and he gives me his strength and wisdom. If there is a Catholic Church near your work, go visit him for a short while during your break, tell him you love him!!

You Don't Split Hairs with the Gospel

When you start splitting hairs with the Gospel, you start to dabble in the absurd. The Lutheran Church will now allow a gay person in a "stable" relationship to serve as member of the clergy. So having sex out of wedlock, not to mention sodomy, is now sanctioned by a Christian Church? I guess fornication is now "okay" as well. Catholics are so blessed to have the teaching authority of the Catholic Church, which protects the deposit of faith, and keeps us focused on truth.

Here is the story on gay Lutheran clergy.

Catholics, Liberals and Web 2.0

It seems that Web 2.0 folks aren't always that comfortable with religion and Christianity in general. This is certainly a generalization, but it seems to be a fair statement. I wish that more of these smart, creative people could experience the grace and love of God. I think in many ways President Obama was elected because he was so good as using the web and social media networks for reaching out to his supporters.
